Andretta wins Howell H. Watson Distinguished Service Award
The Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS has bestowed the
Howell H. Watson Distinguished Service Award upon Evelyne B. Andretta,
SIOR.
This award is the highest form of volunteer recognition by the
Society. The recipient is acknowledged for outstanding service to
the Society through volunteer leadership and participation in its
programs and activities, as well as industry and community involvement.
Evelyne has been in the industrial real estate field for 37 years
and she has held her SIOR designation for 24 of those years. Evelyne
is a senior vice president-broker with The Krauss Organization in
Tampa, Florida. She actively pursues selling and leasing industrial
properties, including investment offerings and land/sites. She was
the first woman accepted into the Society from the state of Florida
and was the first woman elected as chapter president. She has not
only served at the state level, Evelyne has also served as a national
district vice president and a regional vice president and has served
on many national committees.
Her honors are many and come from other organizations in addition
to the Society. She was voted Outstanding SIOR for the state of
Florida in 1996, and in 1997 was inducted into the Hall of Fame
for the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties
(NAIOP).
Evelyne has been a member of the National Association of Corporate
Real Estate Executives (NACORE) and the Florida and Southern Industrial
Development Councils (FIDC/SIDC). She was also a member of the board
of directors for the Tampa Chapter of the National Association of
REALTORS and the board of governors for the Greater Tampa Chamber
of Commerce.
